Alaska: The last Frontier

AlaskaToday I want to talk to you about Alaska. Alaska was the 49th state and is known as the last frontier. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and I lived in Seward and Fairbanks, Alaska. Alaska is home to the biggest mountain in North America, Denali (Mount McKinley). It is home to many other extraordinary sights. There are many different animals including: moose, bears, caribou, sea lions, seagulls, seals, whales, puffins, wolves and other amazing animals. Alaska is the largest state but it doesn’t have the largest population. There are only 700,000 people living there. We also don’t live in igloos. As a matter of fact I lived in a three story house. We also had all the new electronics like playstation, xbox and wii. It is not always cold, I mean yes it does get cold down to -60 degrees. But it does get up to 80 degrees in the summer. They have one of the biggest salmon runs in the world. And I also like to fish myself. Well that’s What I have to say,What about you.(comment on this post)
